Spending all day, every day at home can make time feel meaningless. Saturdays blend into Wednesdays, consistent sleep schedules are a distant memory, and everyone says “it’s five o’clock somewhere” when it’s quite literally five o’clock nowhere. But the fact of the matter is anniversaries, birthdays, and conclusions of sh*tty weeks are still happening. When you feel like having a dinner that properly acknowledges those occasions, order takeout or delivery from any of the 10 spots on this guide.
Check their Instagram for daily specials, but Kimball House is doing a takeout menu that has shuck-your-own oysters, short ribs, and the “Fred Chuggin Fried Chicken Dinner” - a $40 meal that comes with eight pieces of fried chicken, potato salad, braised greens, and biscuits. It’s the perfect thing for when you feeling like virtually dunking on your friends during a Zoom dinner party.
Every week, Little Bear is doing multi-course themed menus for two that they’re calling “Just F*ck Me Up Fam” dinners. Weekly specials have already focused on Goan, Hungarian, and Vietnamese food, and each meal comes with dessert. They also have a large selection of booze to choose from, including spritz cocktail kits, a solid selection of wine, and even sake juice boxes.
Recreating a Brazillian steakhouse at home would take a lot of work. Not only would you have to set up a carving station, but you’d also have to buy a rotisserie grill (for those of you that already have one, what are you doing reading this guide?). Don’t do any of that and order Southern Belle’s new multi-course “Fogo De Chow” menu. For $58, you get enough salad, grilled chicken thighs, linguica, steak, chilles toreados with fried bananas and chimichurri, Brazilian cheesy bread, and toffee-coffee pudding to feed two people. They have other set menus as well, along with bottles of wine - to place an order and see the full menu, click here.
When you’re looking to go all out for takeout, order from Umi. Their to-go menu features appetizers like tuna carpaccio and spicy tuna crispy rice, soups such as nabeyaki udon, sashimi and nigiri, and even an eight-ounce tenderloin. Bottles of wine and sake are also available to order. They’re doing curbside pickup and delivery within a four-mile radius - call the restaurant (404-841-0040) after 3pm to order.
Do you have 20 egg yolks in your fridge? Do you have the energy to turn those 20 yolks into a bunch of handmade pasta? If you don’t, order from Bocca Lupo. They always have a couple of fresh pastas on their rotating menu that would make for an excellent date night or celebratory meal. Some options include black spaghetti with sausage, red shrimp, and scallions, and usually some kind of ravioli. Check Instagram for their daily menu and call the restaurant at 404-577-2332 to place an order.

Lobster immediately turns any situation into a special occasion. Looking for a parking spot? Boring. Looking for a parking spot while snacking on a fried baby lobster tail? Best day ever. Chops has a bunch of different lobster options for pickup and delivery on third-party apps, including lobster bisque and fried lobster tails with butter and honey-mustard aioli, along with other seafood dishes, steaks, and even a wedge salad. When canned tuna and beef jerky is the only surf and turf you’ve had lately, a night of takeout from Chops is the solution.

One of our favorite ways to celebrate completing everyday chores is to get a huge spread of noodles for dinner. And a great option for that is Snackboxe Bistro - they’re delivering via Uber Eats but you can also order on their website. Whether it’s sukiyaki, kua mee with chicken or tofu, or the khao piek with chicken, bean sprouts, scallions, and fried garlic, all the Laotian food at this spot in Doraville can make any night feel special. Especially if you order enough to have some leftovers for tomorrow.
